Opportunity Details:

We are seeking a full-time Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon specializing in Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery to join our multispecialty medical group at South Texas Health System Clinics in Edinburg/McAllen, Texas. This role offers a highly competitive compensation package with performance incentives, allowing you to focus on advanced reconstructive procedures including free flap surgery while supporting our Level I Trauma Center and working alongside a collaborative surgical team.

Schedule / Hours: Standard clinical hours with trauma surgery call coverage
Call: Shared call for trauma reconstruction
Patient Volume: High-volume reconstructive and trauma surgery practice
Location: Edinburg/McAllen, Texas (Rio Grande Valley)
Practice Setting: Hospital-employed plastic surgery position within a Level I

Trauma Center
Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary surgical team with practice development and marketing support
EMR / Technology: Comprehensive electronic medical record system

Responsibilities
Provide trauma and reconstructive plastic surgery care, including complex free flap procedures
Collaborate with trauma surgeons, surgical specialists, and advanced practice providers
Manage inpatient and outpatient surgical care and call coverage responsibilities
Document surgical care accurately using EMR
