Description

Press Operator โ€“ Build It Right. Own the Process. Grow Your Career.

At Robroy Enclosures, our Press Operators donโ€™t just run machinesโ€”they take ownership of turning raw materials into high-quality electrical enclosures that protect critical infrastructure.

In this role, youโ€™ll set up and operate power presses to mold sheet-molding compound (SMC), ensuring every part meets our safety, quality, and production standards in an ISO-driven environment.

What youโ€™ll own:

  • Set up dies, fixtures, and machine settings to run production efficiently
  • Measure and prepare materials to spec before each run
  • Inspect, deburr, drill, and finish parts to print requirements
  • Make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and reduce defects
  • Track production and inventory with accuracy and accountability
  • Identify and address non-conforming products the right way
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all ISO and safety standards

What sets you apart:

  • You pay attention to detail and take pride in quality work
  • You show up reliable, ready to work, and accountable to your team
  • You follow processesโ€”but also think ahead to improve them
  • You prioritize safety every time, no shortcuts

What you can expect:

  • A hands-on role where your work directly impacts production
  • Clear expectations around performance, quality, and accountability
  • A team environment that values consistency, ownership, and development

Work environment:
Youโ€™ll be working around machinery, moving equipment, and moderate noise (hearing protection REQUIRED). Itโ€™s a fast-paced manufacturing floor where focus and safety matter.
