American Plastics is a leading supplier of injection molded products with multiple facilities in 4 states.

About the Position: As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day. 

Available Shifts:

  • Days: 6am - 6pm
  • Nights: 6pm - 6am

Work Environment:

Non-climate controlled (not air-conditioned). The temperature in the facility can exceed 80 degrees during Summer months. 


Duties & Expectations on the Job:

  • Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
  • Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
  • Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
  • Trim, assemble and pack parts.
  • Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
  • Rotate presses every 3 to 4 hours.
  • Show up on time and work all scheduled shifts. 
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Earn up to $21.00 per hour with perfect attendance.

Additional: $0.75 shift differential for night shift: 6pm to 6am

Who you are:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Able to stand up to 11 hours a day, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbal
