Position Summary:
 We are seeking a motivated Plastic Injection Molding Process Tech to support computer-based machining work centers and manual forming of medical device components. This role requires following work instructions, performing inspections, maintaining quality, and collaborating effectively within a team.

  • Operate computer-based machining work centers and related equipment.
  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes in injection molding to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Independently perform molding studies and accurately record and document findings.
  • Mold Set-up and Maintenance.
  • Able to understand operating procedures and warning signs.
  • Responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues that arise during production, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Operate various warehouse machinery, such as forklifts to move stock and reorganize storage.
  • Perform simple to medium-complexity tasks according to customer-specific process requirements and documented instructions.
  • Set up and adjust equipment to required specifications.
  • Follow work instructions
  • Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation.
  • Inspect components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Demonstrate awareness of departmental quality goals and ensure high workmanship.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, demonstrating strong housekeeping habits.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including equipment-specific requirements (e.g., safe operation of laser radiation sources in accordance with Resonetics’ personal protection policies).
  • Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct work professionally and maintain a high standard of performance and behavior.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Follow direction from the Supervisor and/or Production Manager at all times.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating plastic injection molding machines
  • Experience setting molds in plastic injection molding machines for production and sampling runs
  • Proficiency with basic metrology tools including micrometers, gauge pins, and calipers.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and navigation of production systems.

  • Experience with automated or manual inspection equipment.
  • Experience performing IQ/OQ/PQ Validations
  • Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturing.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and sometimes more.
  • Good dexterity as many jobs require the handling of many small components.
  • Standing for long periods of time

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $22- $33.00
