In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts and accessories, Mobis produces chassis, cockpit, and front-end modules; safety products, including airbags; headlights; anti-lock brake systems and electronic stability control products; steering parts; multimedia systems; UVO systems; injection-molded plastic parts, such as instrument panels, carriers, and bumpers; and steel wheel rims and decks.
Description
The Material Processor, under the supervision of the PDC Supervisor and PDC Manager, performs a wide variety of activities related to the receipt, inspection, processing, storage, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories in accordance with Mobis Parts America policies and procedures. Various functions within the processor's assignment is tracked by KPI's and matrix, and each has a goal and/or objective. Key measures include safety, inventory accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Each processor much achieve the standard while maintaining safe work procedures. Performs other related work as required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process Dealer parts orders accurately and with reliable quality
  • Receive incoming shipments
  • Process Dealer return parts
  • Perform inventory counts and stock rearrangements
  • Safe behaviors, Equipment maintenance and general housekeeping

Key Performance Indicators
  • Accurately receive, inspect, process, store and ship a variety of automotive parts and accessories meeting company
  • standards of safety, security, and efficiency.
  • Meet or exceed all minimum PDC productively and quality objectives while displaying professional conduct at all times.
  • Relocate merchandise to staging and/or storage areas as directed.
  • Inspect freight for accuracy and/or damage.
  • Verify receiving tickets against packaging part numbers to ensure accuracy and report damages, shortage,
  • discrepancies, or other out of line conditions.
  • Relocate merchandise to appropriate storage areas.
  • Prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Transport orders to shipping docks or other areas as directed.
  • Report any count or other out of line conditions to the Supervisor or designee.
  • Maintain neat, clean, orderly, safe, and secure work and storage areas.
  • Maintain and charge forklift, stock chaser, and batteries as needed.
  • On a daily basis, perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment which includes, but are not limited to,
  • checking fluid levels, proper tire pressure, and cleanliness.
  • Perform general housekeeping in assigned areas.
  • Performs Special Project Work as required at the direction of Management.

Work Schedule & Travel Requirements
  • 1st Shift: M-F 6:00 AM -6:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: M-F 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM

(***2 mandatory Saturdays per month - 5-hour shifts). No travel is required for this role.
Required Qualifications
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma is required.

Experience Requirements
  • 0-2 years of warehouse inventory experience/ or other warehousing/distribution experience

Certifications
  • HazMat Certification is preferred.
  • Forklift Operator License is preferred.

Skills
  • Basic computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics.
  • Interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical/diagram form.
