Job description

Injection Molding Production - Afternoon/Night Shift Supervisor
We have an opening for a Night Shift Production Supervisor who are enthusiastic and looking to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate with have 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must strategic thinkers and lead with a hands-on approach.
Essential Functions
  • Lead team by demonstrating a commitment to everyone's safety in the workplace.
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work activities to meet production schedules
  • Monitor operator workload and /or utilization.
  • Audit and submit daily updated production report.
  • Troubleshooting for quality and efficiency optimization.
  • Suggest and promote continuous improvement ideas
  • Conduct necessary coaching and counselling of employees including leading or participating in the progressive disciplinary process.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Must be able to bend, twist, climb, stand, and lift items of up to 501b

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years' supervisory experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in plastics preferred (injection molding), but not required
  • Must be able to pass a background check, physical and drug screen
