Job description

Purpose

The maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. This position directly reports to Plant Manager/VP Operations

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Knowledge of hydraulic and electric trouble shoot
  2. basic knowledge of plastic processing.
  3. Troubleshoot problems with injection molding machines and their auxiliary equipment.
  4. Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other repairs as needed.
  5. Operate forklift as needed.
  6. Oversee the preventative maintenance for plant equipment.
  7. Perform any other assignments given by his/her supervisor.
  8. Perform Preventive Maintenance for every start up job or every day ( check all auxiliary equipment , material dryer and machine

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of an injection molding plant.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience repairing injection molding machinery and associated auxiliary equipment.
  • Basic math skills and basic understanding of the English language.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit, stand, and walk for long period of time.
  • Lift up to 25 Ibs and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Must be able to talk, Listen, and speak clearly
