Job Overview

Shift - 6 am-4pm Mon-ThursdayMold OperatorRepetitive hand batching for compression molds. These are heavy so someone comfortable with heavy lifting is what they need. Not a hard job to learn and assistance/training is provided. Solid manufacturing background preferred

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with various fabrication and machining tools, and experience in plastics injection molding processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to efficient production workflows while ensuring product quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate injection molding machines, ensuring proper machine calibration and safety procedures are followed.
  • Perform quality inspections on molded parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Monitor machine operations for defects or malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal output.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on injection molding equipment, including press brake machines and CNC machinery.
  • Handle materials efficiently, including materials handling, fabrication, and proper storage of raw plastics and finished products.
  • Utilize hand tools and fabrication equipment for minor repairs or modifications to molds and machinery.
