Legacy Finishing Systems is looking to expand its team with plasterers.

  • LOCATION - no home base, you go where the jobs are - requires travel around the Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati areas.
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation!
  • No background check required.
  • Must pass drug screen.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US. Legacy participates in E-Verify.
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Must join union after 1 week of employment.
  • PREFERRED - Hawk and trowel knowledge
  • PREFERRED - Experience with plaster
  • PREFERRED - Knowledge of plaster mixing


Job Description:

  • Apply coats of plaster to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings, using trowels, brushes, or spray guns
  • Set up scaffolds
  • Apply weatherproof, decorative coverings to exterior surfaces of buildings, such as by troweling or spraying on coats of stucco.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for applications of plaster, cement, stucco, or similar materials, such as by drywall taping.
  • Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities.
  • Mold or install ornamental plaster pieces, panels, or trim.
  • Other duties as assigned by foreman.


Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally. Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces as needed.
  • Basic hand tool knowledge
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers quickly and accurately
