To thrive as a Planogram Manager, you need expertise in visual merchandising, retail analytics, and space planning, often supported by a degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Familiarity with planogram software (such as JDA Space Planning, Nielsen Spaceman, or Apollo) and proficiency in Excel or data visualization tools is typically required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring consistent execution.
