Job description

Job Summary:
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. They are seeking an experienced software engineer to deliver insights from massive scale data in real time from SaaS based applications on the Simcenter X platform.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test and deliver complete user story with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate on architecture and integration requirements across multiple teams.
• Translate market and competitive insights into clear product priorities and business outcomes.
• Lead go-to-market alignment — positioning, launch readiness, and messaging for new releases.
• Track performance and user adoption to drive continuous improvement in usability, reliability, and value delivery.
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
• Gather and analyse metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
• Showcase POCs enabling use of new frameworks/technologies.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8-10 years of experience in systems-level programming, concurrency patterns, memory management, and high-performance backend development using Go
• Experience with database design and optimization (SQL/NoSQL), specifically for handling file metadata and distributed caching strategies.
• Understanding of version control systems and experience implementing programmatic versioning or custom workflows.
• Experience with high-throughput distributed systems (file systems, storage engines, object storage) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong Python scripting capabilities for automation, tooling, and integration.
• Understanding of cross platform desktop application development and collaboration with product/UX teams.
Preferred:
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure is preferred.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is preferred.
