Netchannels is looking for a talented Sales Development Representativeย to join the Pixel sales team focused on the Public Sector.ย 
This position is located in Washington DC or Reston, or surrounding areas
About the Roleย 
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will generate and qualify new Public Sector opportunities for the Google Pixel sales organization, focusing on Federal and State & Local government customers in the mobility marketplace. This role sits at the top of the funnel, turning Marketing Qualified Leads and targeted outbound outreach into highโ€‘quality meetings and pipeline for the field sales team.
Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Qualify and develop Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)ย from campaigns, events, and digital programs into salesโ€‘ready opportunities for Account Executives.
  • Conduct targeted outbound prospecting into Federal and State & Local agencies using a provided custom slide deck, call scripts, and email templates tailored to Public Sector use cases for Google Pixel.
  • Research and identify key decision makers and influencers within the mobility and Public Sector ecosystem (IT, procurement, program offices, contracting officers, etc.).
  • Navigate the full government buying cycleโ€”from early market research and requirements definition through RFP/RFQ, contract award, and deploymentโ€”to time outreach appropriately and position Pixel solutions within existing contract vehicles.
  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build targeted prospect lists, map accounts, and execute multiโ€‘touch outreach sequences across phone, email, and social channels.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of Google Pixel and related mobility solutions for Public Sector workloads, security, and mission use cases in introductory calls and presentations using provided script.
  • Schedule and coordinate qualified discovery calls, demos, and briefings for the Public Sector sales team, ensuring tight handโ€‘off and thorough opportunity notes.
  • Maintain accurate, upโ€‘toโ€‘date records of all activities, contacts, and opportunities within Salesforce (SFDC) or equivalent CRM, following established data hygiene standards.
  • Track and report on key SDR metrics such as calls, emails, meetings set, conversion rates, and sourced pipeline, and provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging, targeting, and cadences specific to Public Sector mobility opportunities.

Required Qualificationsย 

  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, inside sales, or similar role at a technology company (hardware, or telecom).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the mobility marketplace (e.g., mobile devices, device management, carriers, or OEMs) and how solutions like Google Pixel are positioned and sold.
  • Experience selling into the Public Sector (Federal and/or State & Local), with working knowledge of the government buying cycle, procurement methods, and common contract vehicles.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or another enterprise CRM platform for logging activities, managing leads, and tracking pipeline.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting, list building, and outreach.
  • Strong technology aptitude and ability to quickly learn and communicate new product capabilities, particularly around mobile devices, security, and cloudโ€‘connected services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort delivering valueโ€‘based messaging to technical, business, and procurement audiences.
  • Highly organized, selfโ€‘motivated, and able to manage a high volume of activities while hitting and exceeding SDR KPIs.

Preferred Qualificationsย 

  • Direct experience supporting or selling Google, Android, or other mobile OEM solutions into Public Sector agencies.ย 
  • Prior experience working with federal agencies and State & Local governments, including familiarity with acronyms, budget cycles, and acquisition planning.ย 
  • Experience collaborating with marketing to translate campaign themes into prospecting sequences and custom outreach.ย 
  • Background working with channel partners, resellers, or system integrators that support government customers such as Carahsoft


Success Measuresย 

  • Qualified meetings and opportunities created per month and quarter.ย 
  • Conversion rates from MQL to Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) and to qualified opportunity.ย 
  • Pipeline sourced and influenced for the Google Pixel Public Sector sales organization.ย 
  • Quality of CRM data and completeness of notes and next steps for each opportunity.
