JOB DESCRIPTION:

POSITION PURPOSE

Loadingutilizes a walkie rider to pick up a dunnage rack full ofproductin the stage lane and floor load thematerialinto a trailer, includings stacking of windows, doorsand accessories. LTL utilizes power and air tools tobuild a wood crate to protect product integrity to the customer and then loadscrateonto a trailerwith a Pacer PIT.Shop utilizes power tools to apply extension jams or mull units together based on a description in our WMS system. Alldepartments utilize an RF scanner to systematically move product throughout the building and to load trailers.All departments utilize WMS on a computer or tablet.All departmentscould be cross trained into other departments across the building.All departments utilize power industrialtrucks such as walkie, pacer,sitdownfork lift, reachand or order picker.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loads staged doors, windows and accessories into trailers

  • Secures load for transit using straps

  • Inspects loads to ensure that cargo is secure

  • Builds crates utilizing power tools for LTL shipment

  • Apply extension jams or mull units utilizing power toolswhileutilizing WMS for directions

  • Assists other workers as needed

  • Performs housekeeping duties as needed

  • Assists other departments as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION,SKILLAND/OR COMPETENCYREQUIREMENTS

  • Must pass drugtestand backgroundcheck.

  • 18 years or older

  • Ability to physically push/pull a force of 198lbsand occasionally greater

  • Ability to lift/carry78lbs. occasionally.

  • PIT Training/ PIT Licenserequiredfor all tasks

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.
