The Role

Collaborate with the piping and plumbing detailers to provide assistance with spooling and drawings for the fabrication shops. Utilize Stratus as a tool to facilitate a paperless workflow for the Hermanson shops.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize Revit & Stratus to manipulate and draw piping and plumbing.
  • Utilize Navisworks.
  • Create spool sheets for piping and plumbing.
  • Understanding of dimensioning, shipping and piping to provide accurate break points in the spooling operations.
  • Collaborate with all members on the Hermanson team.
  • Communicate effectively with other individuals.

The salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $55,000.00. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).

Education

High School education or GED. Technical training and/or experience utilizing drawing software. An understanding of construction documents.

Experience

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to utilize Revit, Navisworks and Stratus.ย ย  In addition, use of the Microsoft suite of tools.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
