Job description

Description
Sales Director - Eastern Territory
Location: Remote (must reside within the Eastern U.S. territory) | Travel: Up to 60%
Employment Type: Full-Time
About Pipeline Plastics
Pipeline Plastics, LLC is a leading manufacturer of high-performance HDPE pipe systems serving municipal, industrial, energy, and agricultural markets. We deliver sustainable solutions backed by exceptional service, innovation, and product quality.
The Opportunity
We're hiring a Sales Director to own and grow our Eastern Territory. You'll be the face of Pipeline Plastics across the region-building relationships with owners, engineers, and contractors. This is a territory you take ownership of, not one you inherit and maintain. If you know HDPE, know the East, and know how to win business, we want to talk.
What You'll Do
  • Travel the Eastern region (up to 60%) to build and deepen customer and prospect relationships.
  • Promote Pipeline Plastics' value proposition to owners, engineers, and contractors-both broadly and on project-specific proposals.
  • Partner with the Customer Service Director and inside sales team to scope projects, bids, and RFP requirements.
  • Develop new accounts while growing existing business.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Service, and the VP of Sales to prioritize customer and prospect visits.
  • Keep customers current on production schedules and product availability.
  • Represent Pipeline Plastics at trade shows, associations, and industry events.
  • Record all customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM.

What You Bring
  • 4-6 years of distribution sales and/or construction project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HDPE pipe, fittings, fabricated structures, and fusion equipment.
  • A track record of developing accounts and building long-term client relationships in the Eastern U.S.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, not required).

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.

Why Pipeline Plastics?
Take ownership of a vital territory, build relationships that matter, and directly shape the growth of an industry leader-all while representing products essential to sustainable infrastructure. This is a career step up, not a lateral move. Competitive base plus commission, with total compensation tailored to your HDPE and industry experience.
