Position Summary

McClintock Electric is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician Foreman to lead electrical crews and oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive electrical knowledge, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct electricians and apprentices on job sites.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily electrical installation activities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations.
  • Manage project schedules, manpower, and materials.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as needed.
  • Conduct safety meetings and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and customers.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain quality standards.
  • Train and mentor apprentice electricians.
Qualifications
  • Current Journeyman Electrician license.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
  • Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and code requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 30 certification is a plus; candidates without certification must be willing to obtain it.
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Lift heavy materials and equipment.
  • Work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms.
  • Stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Perform indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Safely perform all duties in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards.
