Position Responsibilities
  • Pipe Installation: Assemble, connect, and install "wet" utility pipe systems (storm/sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains).
  • Grade Management: Work with operators to ensure ground is prepped and meets specs for slope and alignment.
  • Technical Implementation: Position, join, and align pipes at proper depths, angles, and grades; implement mechanical fittings.
  • Utility Safety: Locate underground utilities and utilize knowledge of "Blue Stakes" for safe installation.
  • Plan Reading: Accurately read and interpret project plans and survey stakes, including figuring grades.
