Job description

Sisson Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced pipelayer for underground utility construction.
Qualifications:
  • 1- 2 years of proven experience and proficiency in pipe installation for storm, sanitary, water, and fire line utilities. Daily work includes setting manholes and storm boxes, pipe installation, connecting to manholes, and ensuring that bedding, backfilling, and trenches are properly leveled. 
  • Ability to effectively follow through on verbal and written instructions from Foreman/Supervisor.
  • Ability to ensure pipes are laid correctly, adhering to project plans and specifications.
  • Able to be the leader in the ditch and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Storm drain and sewer experience a plus.
