Basic Functions:

  • Aid in maximizing the profitability of the company by helping to complete construction on time and on budget and for the day-to-day operations of the construction site.
  • Perform all duties assigned by the project manager or foreman, including: all fuel work at the sites.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to see, to read, post, and assure the accuracy of records and documents.
  • Hearing and speaking to exchange information.
  • Ability to assess and perform mathematical functions.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and effective manner to employees.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines, ethics, and build relationships.
  • Ability to take direction from supervisor and complete without constant supervision.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the quality of all work produced, for each project assigned, is more than the minimum established guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with clients.
  • Inspect job site before, during and after completion of project.
  • Monitor all activities and take any corrective action when necessary to assure quality completion of each project assigned.


Authority:

  • The Laborer-Pipefitter has the authority to carry out the duties assigned and requested by the onsite Foreman/Project Manager.


Measures of Performance:

  • Operational costs and expenses under your direct control are under budget every quarter. Corrective action is taken immediately to change adverse trends.
  • Safety has been enforced on the job sites and serious accidents are kept to zero.


Working hours and conditions:

  • A Laborer-Pipefitter is required to work at least 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with appropriate meal and rest breaks. Longer hours may be required on an “As Needed” basis. Appropriate protective clothing and safety shoes are required.





Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1-year extensive experience as a dispatcher or related job duties.
  • Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders.
  • Good computer skills and use of Microsoft software.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to be professional in all settings, with an acceptable level of fitness to complete duties as assigned.
  • Requires statistical and analytical knowledge in: Basic Construction or laborious activities.
  • Physical demands of the job include: carrying equipment, wearing tool belt, carrying ladders, turning wrenches and screwdrivers throughout the day. As well as bending, standing, climbing ladders, squatting, pushing, pulling on occasion throughout the day.
  • Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, background check, and MVR, if driving for the company.
