Job description

Position Title: Pipefitter
About the Role: The Pipefitter plays a vital role in ensuring optimal performance and reliability of piping systems at customer sites. This position involves a hands-on approach to installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes and related equipment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Pipefitters will begin their day at the Rockland, MA shop and travel to various locations, gaining valuable experience alongside seasoned professionals during the initial training period. The role requires a commitment to learning and adapting to new challenges, including working with diverse equipment and customer needs. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment that emphasizes safety and reliability. This position offers opportunities for career advancement within the field.
Salary Range: $40.00 - $45.00 / Hour DOE
Pipefitter Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Rockland, MA shop at 6:00 AM each day
  • Gather necessary parts and tools for service calls and installations
  • Travel to customer sites, typically within a 1-1.5 hour radius of the shop
  • Work alongside experienced technicians for the first 4-6 months to learn diagnostic and repair techniques
  • Independently handle service calls and installations after the training period
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on piping systems and related equipment
  • Ensure a clean driving record while operating company vehicles
  • Maintain focus on safety protocols while working with high-pressure equipment

Pipefitter Requirements:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Willingness to learn and undergo 4-6 months of training
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Clean driving record is mandatory
  • Ability to pass random drug tests
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to various job sites
  • 3-5 years of piping industry experience is preferred
