We are a growing mechanical contractor specializing in industrial piping, skid fabrication, and equipment installation. Our team works on a mix of shop-built systems and field projects, giving employees exposure to a variety of hands-on work. We invest in training and always give our employees the opportunity to expand into new areas of the trade.


Overview

We are seeking Pipe Installation Helpers to join our team. Work will primarily be performed on an active construction jobsite in Cartersville, GA. Travel to other jobsites and our shops in Alpharetta, GA and Gainesville, GA may be needed.

Candidates must be willing to travel to locations as needed.


Potential Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation of Aquatherm, Niron, and HDPE piping systems
  • Prep pipe and fittings for fusion cutting, cleaning, deburring, and facing
  • Support journeymen during socket fusion, butt fusion, and electrofusion procedures
  • Set and carry pipe, fittings, and tools around the job site
  • Help hang and support piping with hangers, strut, and supports
  • Follow all site safety rules and PPE requirements
  • Operate and collaborate effectively under foremen
  • Work safely with rigging, lifting equipment, and other work permits
  • Coordinate with other trades on active construction sites


Preferred Qualifications

  • Some construction or trades experience preferred doesn't have to be piping
  • Reliable shows up on time, ready to work
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet all day
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites across Georgia
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certifications
