Job Summary
Industrial Pipefitters assemble, layout, install, maintain, and repair piping systems used to transport steam, fluids, and gases. Work includes installing pipe, valves, flanges, supports, hangers, and related components in industrial facilities. This position may require work inside structures, tanks, vessels, and excavations, as well as at elevated heights.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of Industrial Pipefitter experience.
  • NCCER Pipefitter certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.
  • Industrial construction or maintenance experience required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Must be able to pass a written Pipefitter test.
Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine piping layouts and installation requirements.
  • Identify required tools, materials, and equipment for assigned tasks.
  • Fabricate, fit, install, and assemble piping systems according to specifications.
  • Install valves, flanges, supports, hangers, and related piping components.
  • Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare piping materials for installation.
  • Perform quality checks and pressure testing of piping systems.

  • Ability to work at heights up to 300 feet while utilizing proper fall protection.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, structures, tanks, and excavations.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain.
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators, and steel-toe boots.
