Job description

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Pipefitter to join our team. This role is responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing complex piping systems and industrial structures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in TIG/MIG welding and the ability to work from detailed technical blueprints in various industrial environments. 

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricating with TIG welding. Install, modify, and make repairs to pipe, towers, exchangers, furnaces, and drums.
  • Prepare material for fabrication. Set up equipment and weld either pipe, plate, or structural steel
  • Fabricating & MIG/TIGCut, thread, and hammer pipe to spec using power tools, cutting torches, and pipe threaders/benders
  • Assist the crew in manual work in various ways to maintain job progress
  • Follow and work from blueprints, sketches, specifications, diagrams, schematics, work instructions, and verbal instructions. 

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years fabricator experience required.
  • Must be able to pass the in-house assessment.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to travel 75% of the time
  • Hands-on experience in the layout, fitting, and welding of structural steel, pipe, and plate.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
