Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter/ Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. In this role, you will build and maintain fire sprinkler pipe systems in commercial settings. You will read blueprints, plan installations, and prepare pipes primarily for fire sprinkler systems. Install, inspect and maintain fire suppression systems. The ideal candidate is analytical, with attention to detail and experience with pipes of a variety of materials. Remain compliant to OSHA safety guidelines. Certifications in related field e.g. (Fire Inspector/ Backflow Tester) is a plus.
Responsibilities 
  • Review and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
  • Inspect and prepare sites for construction operations
  • Measure, cut, weld, assemble, lubricate, and install pipes
  • Test system functionality
  • Repair any leaks or malfunctions
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools
  • Work with other construction professionals to complete projects
  • Follow all relevant safety guidelines
  • Operate a scissor lift and any other required job related machinery
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Pipefitter/ Fire Sprinkler Technician is preferred
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting heavy objects
  • Ability to work overtime when required
