Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring Gas Fuser / Pipe Fitters with relative experience for our Rochester, PA based operation supporting projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. The purpose of a Gas Fuser/ Pipe Fitter is to install steel or plastic gas piping of all sizes by several methods.
Responsibilities
  • Installation of new gas mains & services using tools related to poly pipe fusion, black iron, and HVAC work
  • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by means of poly fusion, mechanical joining, threading, and flanges
  • Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, observation, or other methods
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
  • Layout of pipe, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints
  • Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications
  • Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools

Requirements & Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year related work experience
  • Valid CDL Driver's license is a plus, but is not required
  • Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)
  • Regional travel required
  • Occasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects)

Starting pay range for this position is $24 - $30 / hour and will be commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.
