Job description

RQ is seeking skilled Pipefitters to support our Mechanical Operations team on projects located in Pensacola, Florida and surrounding areas. This position is part of our talent pipeline, and we are seeking individuals interested in future opportunities to join the RQ team. We will reach out to qualified applicants once the opportunity and positions become open and available. Work will take place in Pensacola, FL the surrounding areas. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the base.
Pipefitters will be responsible for the installation, assembly, layout, and maintenance of piping systems on active construction sites. Pipefitters are expected to perform work in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable building codes while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and safety. Candidates should possess strong technical pipefitting knowledge and experience using the proper tools and equipment required for commercial mechanical installations. All tasks must be completed in accordance with company safety standards and in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
RQ specializes in accelerated, ground-up commercial construction projects for both private and public-sector clients, with a significant concentration in Department of Defense construction and infrastructure work.
Pay: $51.59 to $53.00ph DOE
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K) with Match, 1 week of vacation and sick time.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position.
  • 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter in a commercial, or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
