FLINT is excited to announce that we are actively seeking talented individuals to join our team for the Empress, Alberta Turnaround! Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a dynamic workforce and contribute to impactful projects. 

Location: Empress, AB.
Duration: August 9 - October 10, 2026

NOW HIRING: Pipefitters 

Details:

  • Scope of work includes piling, removal and replacement of equipment, installation of structural steel and piping, welding, rigging, and general material handling.
  • 12 days in & 2 days out schedule rotation.
  • 8-hour regular time & 2-hour overtime workdays.
  • Additional Daily Travel Pay provided as 2 hours at the regular hourly rate for bus transportation.
  • Mobilization/Demobilization provided each way for workers residing 125+ km from site.
  • LOA for non-locals: $165 per day (paid on the 2 days off during execution).

Qualifications
  • Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years in oil and gas construction projects preferred.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • CSTS 2020 or CSTS 09
    • WHMIS
  • No virtual option — in-person attendance required for the following ticket requirements.
    • H2S Alive
    • Fall Protection
    • Aerial Work Platform
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation to the site.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits. 

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
