What is a pipe fitting apprentice?

Pipe fitting apprentices are entry-level workers who learn the skills needed to become professional pipe fitters. They assist experienced pipe fitters in installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing piping systems that transport water, steam, gas, and other materials. During their apprenticeship, they receive both on-the-job training and classroom instruction, covering topics like blueprint reading, safety protocols, and welding techniques.
