About this role:
We are seeking a Service Plumber to handle a range of residential plumbing tasks. In this role, you will perform service work that includes troubleshooting, installing, and repairing plumbing systems. You will diagnose issues, execute repairs and installations, and ensure that all work meets high-quality standards and local codes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with homeowners are essential for success in this position.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Diagnosing problems and failures in plumbing systems and equipment
  • Determining whether repairs or replacements are needed for customers
  • Installing and assembling plumbing systems and equipment, including valves, pipe fittings, and pipes
  • Performing installation, maintenance, and repairs on water and gas systems, pipes, fittings, and components
  • Testing for leaks using compressed air and/or water to ensure functionality and safety
  • Repairing and maintaining plumbing systems by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and clearing clogged drains
  • Managing the inventory of plumbing supplies in the vehicle, including checking stock, placing orders, and verifying receipts
  • Keeping equipment and tools operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures
  • Maintaining safety equipment
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Alabama Master Plumbing license required
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial systems.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
