Job Description
 
The Welding position is responsible for manufacturing parts and components according to customer drawings and specifications. This role includes the setup, operation, and maintenance of welding equipment including welding machines, spot welders, and robot welders. The ideal candidate will have hands-on welding and metal fabrication experience with a strong focus on pipe fitting. This position also requires the ability to maintain equipment and ensure production of “0 defect” parts.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment and metal fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
  • Setup fixturing and work areas to produce quality parts according to specifications
  • Use manual and power tools to grind and finish parts as required
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure proper functionality
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisory personnel
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years Related welding or fabrication experience required
  • Associate Degree from an accredited welding program preferred
  • Knowledge of welding equipment, methodologies, and fabrication processes
  • Ability to read and follow drawings and specifications 
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS)
