What is PIP insurance?

PIP insurance, or Personal Injury Protection insurance, is a type of car insurance coverage that pays for medical expenses and, in some cases, lost wages and other damages, regardless of who is at fault in an accident. It is often required in no-fault insurance states, where each driver's own insurance covers their injuries. PIP can cover you, your passengers, and sometimes pedestrians involved in the accident. The specific benefits and limits vary by state and policy, so it's important to review your coverage details with your insurer.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a PIP insurance claims adjuster?

To thrive as a PIP (Personal Injury Protection) Insurance Claims Adjuster, you need a solid understanding of insurance policies, claims processing, and relevant state regulations, often supported by a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with claims management software and, in some states, adjuster licensing or certifications are typically required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, empathy, and effective communication help you assess claims accurately and support customers through stressful situations. These skills ensure claims are processed efficiently, fairly, and in compliance with legal standards, maintaining trust and minimizing risk for the insurer.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in PIP insurance claims handling?

Professionals handling PIP (Personal Injury Protection) insurance claims often encounter challenges such as managing high caseloads, interpreting complex medical documentation, and ensuring compliance with varying state regulations. Balancing timely claim resolutions while maintaining thorough investigations can be demanding, especially when coordinating with medical providers, attorneys, and policyholders. Effective communication and strong organizational skills are essential to navigate these challenges and provide quality customer service.

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our mail room team!
Our company processes bulk mailings for a variety of customers, and this position plays an important role in making sure those mailings are prepared accurately and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who pays close attention to the work in front of them and naturally notices when something doesn't look right. In this position, catching a small mistake before a mailing goes out can make a big difference.
What We're Looking For
  • Highly detail-oriented and takes pride in doing work correctly
  • Able to spot mistakes, inconsistencies, or unusual situations without being told what to look for
  • Quick learner who can pick up new processes and procedures naturally
  • Fast and efficient worker who can maintain a good production pace
  • Able to stay focused and accurate while performing repetitive tasks
  • Takes responsibility for the quality of their own work
  • Comfortable asking questions when something doesn't seem right
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to be part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and equipment
  • Previous mailing, postal, or bulk-mail experience is a plus, but is not required. Knowledge of USPS regulations and mailing requirements is a plus.
  • We are willing to train the right person. The ability to learn, retain information, and become confident working independently is more important than previous mail-room experience.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare and process bulk mailings for our customers
  • Sort, organize, and prepare mail according to job specifications
  • Operate mail processing and finishing equipment
  • Follow mailing instructions carefully
  • Inspect work for errors and inconsistencies
  • Help ensure mailings are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Occasionally process and meter in-house mail
  • Perform other mail room duties as needed

The right person for this job doesn't just follow instructions-they pay attention to what they're doing and notice when something doesn't look right. If you're someone who learns quickly, works at a good pace, and naturally catches details that others might overlook, we'd like to hear from you.
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
We are one of the nations leading communications businesses backed by 50 years of professional experience and extraordinary growth. While technology plays a pivotal role in our industry, from print, signs and marketing to online ordering portals and more, we believe a rewarding career is shaped by people, purpose and passion.
If you dream of being part of an organization with a great heritage, progressive leadership and cutting-edge technology, discover the world that is PIP and its independent franchisees. PIP is a leading industry provider of printing, signs and marketing services, but we're less corporate culture and more close-knit family. We collaborate on ideas and dreams. Push boundaries. Solve challenges. Look out for one another. And yes, we work hard...and play harder. It's part of our DNA.
With several career paths to choose from - sales, marketing, design, production, operations - no matter the role you choose, you'll be working in an organization that cares about you. At PIP you can make a difference.
This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. All inquiries about employment at this franchisee should be made directly to the franchise location, and not to PIP.
