Job description

Take charge of daily pharmacy operations at a well-established independent compounding pharmacy with a path to future ownership in the Arcadia/Phoenix area. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a small, focused team while contributing to business growth and community healthcare.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Type: Contract to Hire (3 months)
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
    Script Volume: Under 100 per day
    Team: 1 compounding technician, 1 retail technician
    System: PioneerRx
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including staff oversight
  • Supervise compounding, workflow, inventory control, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop strong relationships with patients and prescribers
  • Drive business development and improve operational efficiency
  • Possibly serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Active Arizona pharmacist license or eligibility to become licensed
  • Proven leadership and effective communication skills
  • Experience in compounding and independent pharmacy preferred
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in pharmacy ownership and business growth
