Purpose of Position
The Aviation Operations Specialist has a working knowledge of NetJets operations, with responsibilities ranging from introductory airport analysis and determining airport and aircraft capabilities, to coordinating the logistical tasks required for flawless flight execution. The Aviation Operations Specialist works throughout the booking lifecycle to identify and mitigate operational and service challenges to flight requests, recommending options that are customized to the Owners' preferences and appropriate to the context of the flight. The Aviation Operations Specialist collaborates with other NetJets teams to mitigate risks to service so that the day-of execution of the flight appears effortless in the eyes of the Owner.

This process involves coordinating with other NetJets teams as appropriate before transitioning responsibility to the day of execution teams. Throughout, the goal is to identify and implement options that mitigate potential issues while ensuring the Owner's experience appears seamless.
Assist with airport research and analysis by gathering information and coordinating with airport, city, and state contacts. Support senior team members by learning about airport equipment, navigational aids, instrument procedures, aviation regulations, aircraft performance, and company flight operations. Help update and maintain internal data related to airport and aircraft capabilities and operational limitations.
Act as the central point of contact for operational and service-related questions that arise at time of booking with subsequent follow-up, consulting with Aviation Operations Specialist, Seniors and subject matter experts as necessary. Responsible for effective collaboration with Scheduling, Owner Services, International Trip Planning, Flight Operations, Flight Dispatch, Aircraft & Industry Insights, Meteorology, and teams from NetJets Europe and Executive Jet Management.
