These jobs can include positions such as forestry technicians, loggers, mill workers, or environmental scientists who manage or process pine wood. Pine jobs may also encompass roles focused on sustainable harvesting, conservation, and the production of pine-derived products such as lumber, paper, or resins. The specific duties vary depending on the position, but they often involve outdoor work, equipment operation, and environmental stewardship.

Job description

PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Pine Creek Rehab | Salt Lake City UT
Flexible PRN Schedule | Therapist-Owned Company
Meaningful Work - On Your Schedule
Independence Rehab is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our therapy team at Pine Creek Rehab, a community-based nursing home in West Salt Lake City.
We need approximately 10 hours of patient care each week. You can split that up by working a couple of hours each weekday, or a couple of longer hours during the week.
In skilled nursing, small progress creates life-changing impact. Our goal is to help each patient regain mobility, confidence, and independence so they can safely transition to the next level of care.
If you enjoy working with older adults, value flexibility, and want to be part of a supportive clinical team, this is a great PRN opportunity.
What You'll Do
As a PRN PTA, you'll provide hands-on, functional therapy to a geriatric population, including:
• Gait and mobility retraining
• Transfer training across all levels of assistance
• Strengthening, balance, and fall prevention
• Supporting patients with medically complex conditions
• Collaborating with the supervising PT on care progression
• Working alongside nursing, OT, and speech to support whole-person recovery
If you need support building any of these competencies, we provide training and mentorship.
Why Therapists Choose Independence Rehab
We're a therapist-owned company that operates therapy services independently - allowing clinicians to focus on patient care while feeling supported.
• Flexible PRN scheduling with no minimum hour requirement
• Opportunities to pick up hours at nearby partner facilities
• Realistic expectations and supportive leadership
• Clinical autonomy and respect for professional judgment
• Team culture that prioritizes integrity, people, and outcomes
• Ongoing training available when needed
Our guiding philosophy is simple: lead with integrity, empower people, deliver outcomes.
PRN Flexibility
This role is designed to work around your availability.
There is no required minimum number of hours, and additional PRN opportunities may be available at nearby locations if you'd like more consistency.
Requirements
• Active Utah PTA license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes
• SNF experience preferred (one year ideal), but not required
If you're a caring, licensed therapist who enjoys helping older adults improve daily life, we'd love to connect.
Apply today - we look forward to meeting you.
