We are seeking a Transport Driver who will support general Airport Operations to join our TRM Division. This position combines occasional fuel delivery trips in a Tanker or Tankwagon with a variety of hands-on airport maintenance and operational support responsibilities. 


The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys diverse responsibilities and can work independently and as part of a small team. This position requires a valid CDL Class A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. During non driving periods, the employee will support daily airport operations through facility maintenance, groundskeeping, construction projects, and general operational tasks. The typical hours will be Monday - Friday 1st shift, other than the overnight deliveries. This position is based out of the Ross County Airport. 


Responsibilities 

  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of fuel delivery equipment and report or resolve any issues 
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance on delivery equipment at fuel sites 
  • Safely load, transport, and deliver Jet A fuel into above-ground tanks using onboard pump systems Adhere to fuel loading terminal operating instructions and emergency procedures along with the company procedures for loading and unloading
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance, especially when making deliveries to customers
  • Collaborate with pilots and helicopter crews on-site to conduct fuel testing and obtain signed fuel receipts 
  • Assist with annual inspections/filter changes at respective heliports 
  • Assist with painting, facility upkeep, and general property maintenance 
  • Fuel aircrafts as needed
  • Perform lawn care and grounds maintenance 
  • Operate various tools and machinery
  • Assist with special projects and operational needs as assigned 

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A license 
  • Tanker and HazMat endorsements required
  • Strong knowledge of DOT and HAZMAT safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a safety-sensitive environment 
  • Ability to travel over night as needed
  • Willingness to assist with non-driving tasks as needed
  • May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • 1 year of driving experience required; experience in the petroleum industry is preferred
