You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional customer service with integrity and teamwork. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor badges, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
  • Observe inbound and outbound traffic, coordinate with site contacts regarding access requests, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity through established channels.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and assigned business areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
