Job description

Salary: $30.10 - $38.29

Your day-to-day will look like:

  • Operate line pump and static agitator simultaneously
    • Fuel equipment and complete pre trip and daily/weekly maintenance
    • Walk the line, connect concrete hoses, mix grout and prime lines prior to pumping concrete
    • Spot concrete trucks to pump location
    • Communicate with Rig OP and Lead hand to start/stop/reverse flow of concrete being pumped or if not enough concrete is onsite
    • Monitor slump on concrete, monitor hoses and pressures, monitor concrete times,
    • Track and record strokes for each pile,
    • provide feedback on concrete quantities onsite at EOD, track concrete sent away at EOD and report to Super/FM.
    • Clean equipment at EOD and as required throughout the day
  • Conduct the pre-use inspection of their equipment and daily completion of the equipment Logbook
  • Know the operators manual for their piece of equipment.
  • Ensure ground conditions can support equipment.
  • Utilize a spotter when backing in concrete trucks to hopper.
  • Wear required PPE.
  • Ensure work area and access roads are kept level and free of obstruction and ruts.
  • Ask for directions from supervisor whenever unsure of task.


You have the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills:
Qualifications:


  • 0-2 years of experience is preferred.
  • Piling / Foundation Drilling Experience is a benefit. CFA experience preferred.
  • CCPO certification an asset

Technical Skills:


  • Must know how to operate a pressure washer.
  • You have knowledge on safe work procedures.
  • You can clearly identify various types of hazards on site.
  • You understand hand signals for spotting concrete truck, Crane singles.

  • Great attitude towards safety.
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
