Description

PCMH's Bowling Green Walk-In Clinic is currently looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team! The LPN is a customer and patient service-oriented team player who is responsible for supporting the clinic by providing a variety of services for preparing and maintaining patient records, preparing patients for physician, other providers or nurses, interacting maintaining optimal patient flow and assists with patient care as directed.
Shift: 8:30 a.m. 7:00 p.m. (4-10hr Days) Days may vary - Occasional Weekends in rotation

Job Responsibilities

  • Escorting patients to the exam room and documenting chief complaints
  • Document patient care in the electronic medical record
  • Assist physicians and/or nurse practitioners by providing assessment, treatment, testing, and education for the patients of the practice
  • Greet patients warmly and respectfully, demonstrating compassion
  • Respond in a timely manner and keep patients informed while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all privacy and protected health regulations
  • Assist the physician/nurse practitioner with in-clinic procedures

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited Practical Nursing Program, New Grads Welcome
  • Missouri LPN License required
  • Previous medical office experience, including lab draws, is desired
  • Will also need to be CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider) certified upon hire or within 90 days
