We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL license, a clean driving record, and preferably flatbed experience. Deliveries will primarily be made in the MD, DC, VA, WV, DE, PA, and NJ areas, with drivers returning home daily. Overtime may be required on most days. Forklift or Piggy Back experience is a plus, and the ability to drive a manual transmission is required.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport and deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, or other appropriate methods
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations
- Previous flatbed experience preferred
- Ability to drive a manual transmission
- Forklift or Piggy Back experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects
- Hazmat Endorsement preferred

- Ability to hear traffic signals, emergency sirens, and communication devices.
Manual Tasks:
- Frequent handling of paperwork, logs, and electronic devices for record-keeping and communication.
- Precise hand movements for shifting gears and operating vehicle controls.
