Collaboration between engineers, divers, and construction crews is essential to maintain project timelines and uphold quality standards.

What is pier construction?

Pier construction refers to the process of building structures that extend from the shore into a body of water, such as lakes, rivers, or oceans. Piers are commonly used for docking boats, fishing, recreation, or as walkways and platforms. The construction process involves designing foundations that can withstand water currents, tides, and weather conditions, often using materials like wood, steel, or concrete. Specialized techniques and equipment are required to ensure the stability and longevity of the pier. Proper permits and adherence to environmental regulations are also important aspects of pier construction.
