Job description

Parkland Golf & Country Club in Parkland, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Racquet Sports Maintenance person to join our team! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Essential Duties:
  • Daily maintenance includes brushing and lining of courts.
  • Blowing off tennis & pickleball walkways between courts, as well as blowing off pickleball courts.
  • Ensure all watering systems are working properly and adjusted as needed due to weather.
  • Weekly rolling, inspecting for algae and weeds, luting, and attention to windscreens and fences for holes or repairs.
  • Inspect and repair court lines.
  • Maintain nets.
  • Periodic maintenance, not limited to adding Har Tru, patching low spots, adding magnesium or calcium as needed.
  • Remove trash, clean foot sweeps, check ball return, clean water fountains.
  • Stack and store furniture, windscreens and equipment for inclement weather.
  • Performs minor handyman repairs as needed.
  • Assist with daily racquet operations as directed.
  • Communicate court conditions to administrative and pro shop staff.
Physical/Mental Requirements
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to endure long periods of standing, sitting and walking.
  • Willing to work outdoors regardless of weather conditions.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Court maintenance experience desired but will train qualified candidate.
