Job description

Summary
The Truck Unloader/Warehouse Associate for Pressing is to assist in unloading trucks and moving cartons to the appropriate work stations. The position is also responsible for the outgoing and incoming freight targeted for the pressing and shipping areas.
This position would begin as a Hamrick's temp but with hard work and dedication could transition to full-time.
Regular hours would be Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm. Longer hours and Saturday work would occasionally be required.
Responsibilities
  • Unload trucks and place boxes on pallets to be moved to appropriate work areas
  • Move pallets of incoming freight to the proper work areas
  • Operate pallet jack to relocate pallets as directed
  • Assist to expedite freight by hanging folded garments
  • Coordinate hanging garments by size on trolleys
  • Move garments on trolleys to appropriate area
  • Tag merchandise, as needed
  • Retrieve trolleys
Qualifications
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
