Job Summary

RS Group is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Atlanta, GA distribution facility. In this role, you will supervise warehouse staff and daily activities, track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods, and ensure inventory accuracy through regular checks and audits. You'll work closely with department leads and warehouse leadership to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards across the facility.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role — this is a non-negotiable requirement. You should be comfortable operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, cherry picker, and reach truck), have strong communication skills, and be ready to train, coach, and hold a team accountable in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekends during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities.
  • Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity.
  • Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Check orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
  • Perform daily inspections of the warehouse grounds.
  • Coordinate with department leads and customers to ensure all warehouse activities meet company processes, productivity, accuracy, and quality goals.
  • Ensure all inventory movements are documented and handled to support real-time inventory transactions.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.
  • Coordinate with warehouse leadership to communicate job expectations, provide training, and coach employees.
  • Work with leads to ensure timely receiving and shipping, accurate cycle counts, and proper organization of overflow and pick pallets.
  • Help establish and maintain a "Safety First" work culture.
  • Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
  • Communicate issues or procedural gaps proactively to Senior Management.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists for management sign-off.
  • Identify areas for improvement and help implement updated work procedures.
  • Identify training and cross-training needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

Note: Prior supervisory/lead experience is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Experience operating forklifts: sit-down, stand-up, cherry picker, and reach truck.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts and occasional weekends during peak times.
  • Reliable personal transportation to arrive on time for an 8:00 AM start.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices (OSHA or equivalent).
  • Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
