Job description

Midwest 3PL is seeking a dependable Warehouse Customer Service Lead to coordinate communication between truck drivers, warehouse employees, customers, and transportation operations. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates well, and can read and understand dispatch logs and shipping documents.


Responsibilities:



  • Communicate with truck drivers, warehouse employees, customers, and transportation personnel.

  • Communicate schedules, load information, pickup and delivery details, and changes.

  • Read and maintain dispatch logs, bills of lading, and shipping documents.

  • Coordinate driver pickups and deliveries and direct them to loading and unloading areas.

  • Communicate with management and warehouse staff regarding freight, appointments, and priorities.

  • Monitor load status and communicate delays or changes.

  • Assist with scheduling appointments and daily warehouse workflow.

  • Verify paperwork and maintain accurate records.

  • Help resolve issues involving drivers, freight, schedules, and warehouse operations.


Qualifications:



  • Warehouse, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or customer service experience preferred.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to read and understand dispatch logs and shipping documents.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Previous lead experience preferred.

  • Forklift experience is a plus.
