Description

Christ Panos Foods is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Loader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately loading outbound orders into designated tractor trailers. By following company policies and standards, you will ensure that all products are securely stowed and properly organized to maximize safety and delivery efficiency. Your contributions will play a vital role in supporting our daily logistics operations and delivering exceptional service to our customers. 


Position Details:

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 8:00pm - Finish 

Starting Pay: $21.00/hour 


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough trailer inspections before loading to ensure cleanliness, proper temperature settings, and readiness for loading 
  • Ensuring pallets are securely wrapped to prevent damage during transportation 
  • Verify header labels on pallets and inspect for damaged products prior to loading 
  • Load trailers carefully, ensuring bulkheads are correctly placed and secured. Complete and submit load diagrams as required 
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized dock area 
  • Operate stand up electric pallet jack efficiently and safely 
  • Verify that each route is loaded with the correct pallets and products

Requirements

  • Background check and drug test 
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving 
  • Prior experience in the food distribution industry with knowledge of GMPs 
  • Familiarity with ERP software 
  • High school diploma or GED 

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and power industrial truck. The employee is frequently exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.


Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for the duration of the production shift; talk or hear; use hands or finger to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds.
