Loader
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Loader. This position will be responsible for safety loading parts onto a moving production line. This position will be 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am.
What you will be doing:
Checks for incoming materials so production is not stalled.
Ensures work area is clean performs necessary housekeeping.
Must be able to recognize parts that do not meet specifications. Able to stand at work station for a long period of time. Must be able to reject bad materials that do not meet quality standards.
The skills and experience you need:
High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities. Must have strong verbal communication skills. Have basic math skills.
Needs to have flexibility with production hours.
Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold air.
Sustain repetitive motions using arms and hands.
Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
Able to work side by side with other production operators.
Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
Good understanding of quality control.
