Job description

Warehouse Associate

Job Type: Contract to hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am – 3pm
Pay: starts at $16.00 per hour

 

About the Role:
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to perform a variety of picking, kitting, PLS, delivery, service center, and dock to stock processes. The Warehouse Associate performs processes according to established documented procedures, fills customer orders and delivers them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. They also ensure all orders are complete and correct.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pulls material for customer orders for Bulk Orders that require shipment within the same week that the orders are received
  • Pulls material for customer orders that require same day shipment
  • Initiates, recommends or provides solutions through designated channels
  • Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process and quality system
  • Packages material for customer orders. This includes application of specific customer required labeling
  • Prepare orders for shipment
  • Follow all the work instructions and procedures for picking and packaging of customer orders
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in warehouse environment
  • Organized with attention to detail and ability to demonstrate follow-through on work assignments
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Works well under pressure
  • Ability to work for periods of time without direct supervision

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent bending, crouching, reaching
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours a day
  • Carry/Lift 10-20lbs continuously throughout the day
  • Carry/Lift 20-100lbs periodically (with assistance)
