What is a picker associate?

A Picker Associate is a warehouse worker responsible for locating, selecting, and preparing items for customer orders. They use pick lists or handheld scanners to identify items, retrieve them from shelves, and ensure the correct quantity and quality before packaging. Picker Associates play a crucial role in the supply chain, helping to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. They may also assist with inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

To thrive as a Picker Associate, you need strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and basic literacy and numeracy skills, often with a high school diploma or equivalent.
