Job description

Seasonal Warehouse Associate – Picking & Shipping Support

$16–$18/hour • Seasonal/on-call • Austin, TX

Want to Become a Warehouse Thunderbeast?

Around Fringe Sport, we call our strongest warehouse team members Thunderbeasts. They show up, learn quickly, pay attention to details, and take pride in getting the job done correctly.

We’re looking for seasonal Warehouse Associates who can help our team during Black Friday, Cyber Monday, promotional events, and other high-volume periods.

Your primary responsibility will be picking customer orders accurately and moving them to the correct staging area. Depending on your experience and training, you may also help with packing, shipping, and other outbound warehouse work.

This is seasonal, on-call work rather than a guaranteed full-time position. Hours will depend on order volume and warehouse needs. We’ll provide as much advance notice as possible when additional help is needed.

Fringe Sport is on a mission to help people get stronger through the Garage Gym Revolution. Our warehouse handles barbells, squat racks, weight plates, and strength equipment shipped to customers across the country.

What You’ll Do

  • Read pick lists and locate the correct products, SKUs, quantities, and warehouse locations.
  • Pull customer orders accurately and move them to the correct staging or shipping area.
  • Double-check orders before marking them complete.
  • Help pack and prepare outbound orders based on your training and experience.
  • Identify and report missing, damaged, misplaced, or incorrectly labeled products.
  • Keep aisles, carts, staging areas, and workstations clean and organized.
  • Follow warehouse processes, training requirements, and safety standards.
  • Support other warehouse tasks as needed during busy periods.
  • Regularly lift and move products weighing 50+ lbs.

What Success Looks Like

  • You arrive reliably for the shifts you accept.
  • You work with urgency without sacrificing accuracy.
  • You select the correct products and quantities.
  • You catch and report problems instead of working around them.
  • You follow instructions, respond well to feedback, and improve quickly.
  • You move between picking, packing, and other warehouse work based on what the team needs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable attendance and clear communication about your availability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow directions and warehouse processes.
  • Comfort doing active, physical work throughout the shift.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move 50+ lbs.
  • Willingness to help wherever needed during busy periods.
  • Prior warehouse, picking, packing, or shipping experience is helpful but not required.

Compensation and Schedule

  • $16–$18 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated capability.
  • Seasonal and on-call scheduling based on warehouse volume.
  • Most opportunities are expected during promotional events and the November–December holiday period.
  • Hours are not guaranteed and may vary from week to week.
  • Please include your general availability when applying.

If you’re dependable, ready to work, and interested in helping our warehouse team during its busiest periods, we’d love to hear from you.
