Job description

About ShipNomad

ShipNomad is a third-party logistics (3PL) company in Lebanon, TN that powers order fulfillment for fast-growing e-commerce brands. Every day, our warehouse team picks, packs, and ships thousands of orders that land on customers' doorsteps across the country. We run a modern, tech-driven floor — ShipHero WMS on iPads with Bluetooth scanners, not clipboards — and we take real pride in speed, accuracy, and treating our clients' customers like our own.

About the Role

As a Pick Packer, you're the heart of our operation. You'll use a handheld scanner and iPad to locate products in the warehouse, pick them accurately, pack them to each brand's specifications, and get them out the door on time. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and like staying active during your shift, you'll fit right in. We'll train you on our systems and each client's specs.

What You'll Do

  • Pick customer orders using the ShipHero app on an iPad with a Bluetooth scanner, following optimized pick paths through the warehouse.
  • Pack orders to each client's packaging specifications — correct box, protective materials, inserts, and branded touches.
  • Verify every item by scanning before it ships, catching mispicks before they become mispacks.
  • Apply shipping labels and stage packages by carrier (USPS, UPS, DHL, Veho) for daily pickups.
  • Assist with kitting, bundling, and special projects for orders that need assembly.
  • Support receiving, putaway, returns processing, and cycle counts as needed.
  • Keep your pack station clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift.
  • Hit daily accuracy and productivity targets while flagging inventory or product issues to your lead.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience — at least 1–3 years of warehouse or fulfillment experience (picking, packing, shipping, or similar).
  • Reliability — you show up on time, every day. Your teammates count on you.
  • Attention to detail — the right item, right quantity, right box, every time.
  • Comfort with technology — you'll work from an iPad and scanner all day (we'll train you on ShipHero).
  • A team-first attitude — we help each other hit the daily ship goal.
  • WMS experience (ShipHero especially) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Work in a warehouse environment that varies with the seasons.
